سياسة الخصوصيةPrivacy Policy

Introduction

This document explains how the Khumasi app — a platform for booking five-a-side football pitches in Iraq — collects, uses, and protects your data. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Data we collect

• Name, phone number, and email: to create your account, sign in, and verify you.
• Location: to show the nearest pitches — requested explicitly and never used in the background.
• Photos: that you choose for your profile or pitch images.
• Booking data: pitch and time to complete a booking.
• Chat messages: between you and the pitch owner inside the app.
• Notification token: to send booking alerts to your device.

How we use your data

Your data is used only to run the pitch-booking service: creating your account, showing nearby pitches, completing bookings, and sending notifications. When you book a pitch, your name and phone number are shown only to that pitch's owner to confirm the booking and contact you.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Sharing is limited to: the pitch owner you book with (name and phone only), and essential service providers: Resend for verification emails, and Expo for delivering push notifications.

Chat & calls

Chat messages are stored to help you coordinate with the pitch owner and are automatically deleted after 30 days. The call button opens your phone's dialer to place a normal call with the other party — we do not record or access calls.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account anytime from inside the app: Profile → Delete Account, which removes your data and bookings permanently. See the Account Deletion page for details.

Data security

Your data is stored on our own servers in a secure database, and all communication between the app and server is encrypted via HTTPS. We only request the information necessary to run the service.

Children's privacy

The app is intended for adults and pitch owners. It does not target children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the last-updated date appears at the top of the page.
